From the Frontlines of Birth to the Future of Wellness: Why I Created Genesis Wellness Boca Raton

I spent several years working in Labor & Delivery. In that ward, you see the human body at its most miraculous and its most resilient. There is a unique kind of strength required to bring new life into the world, and witnessing that every day deeply shaped how I view medicine.
In L&D we absolutely work hard to prevent crisis, but it is also a place where things can change in a moment. You learn quickly how powerful, fragile, and unpredictable the human body can be. That experience taught me to respect the body’s ability to heal, but also the importance of supporting it before it reaches a breaking point.
What really shifted my perspective, though, was what happens after the baby arrives.
I saw how becoming a mother changes everything. Your body changes. Your hormones change. Your mind changes. The postpartum phase can be beautiful, but it can also be incredibly difficult and something that isn’t always talked about or acknowledged enough.
New parents suddenly carry enormous expectations. We focus so much on caring for everyone else that we sometimes lose sight of ourselves and who we are outside of that role. And it’s not just mothers.. fathers go through this transition too.
But what I’ve learned is this: we show up better for everyone in our lives when we feel good ourselves. When we feel healthy, confident, and supported, we become better moms, dads, partners, daughters, sons, and friends.
That realization is what led me to create Genesis Wellness & Aesthetics in Boca Raton.
I wanted to build a space where luxury meets real, prescriptive medicine, where care is personalized, thoughtful, and focused on long-term vitality. A place that moves away from the high-volume med spa model and back toward concierge-level medicine that truly listens to the individual.
This journal is my way of sharing that journey with you, from regenerative science and cellular health to the everyday habits that help us stay resilient and vibrant.
I’m so glad you’re here.
